While Tana finished up at work, I walked to the Northwestern U. bookstore and got Bill a Christmas present.We had dinner at the Atwood Cafe which is in the historic Reliance Building, now the Burnham Hotel, designed by Daniel Burnham.
After dinner, Judy, Tana and I went to the LaSalle Theater for "Jersey Boys."

Last night I volunteered at Annie at the Palace Theater. It was a fundraiser for pediatric hospice. I had forgotten how much I like that play, especially surrounded by an audience of "...little girls, little girls." (Miss Hannigan)

A very happy Bill called today from San Juan, Capistrano. He and Aimee have made it through their long and (for him, grey and cold) bicoastal winter. I took this picture of them at the fish taco stand by the Pacific Ocean when we were all in California in December.
