School was cancelled due to snow and ice. I drove to Delaware and got my fingerprinting done for my license renewal. My fingerprints are too worn down for the electronic printing. I knew that I would regret all those hours of practicing the flute.

Last night I ushered at the Harlem Gospel Choir concert. The roads got bad quickly, so they skipped the intermission.

The Recorded A Cappella Review Board has chosen the Tufts Beelzebubs 2007 album as the best of the year. They had this to say about Ed: "Much of the credit goes to Ed Boyer....Boyer is a master of his craft. Always thoroughly tasteful and moving, with dense textures and clever transitions, his arrangements stand out from the rest."

Volunteering at the Southern Theater. "100 Years of Jazz" felt like a class until we got to Minnie the Moocher, then the fun kicked in.

My parents received an award for volunteering from the state of Ohio. Here are my sister, Mrs. Riley from the State Dept., my parents, Elmo and Mary, Frances Strickland and me.

Yesterday, Morrow County was flooded by large amounts of rain. During the night the water froze on the roads, so school was delayed two hours.
